Abstract
In this paper we apply some techniques and econometric methods to the analysis of regional economic convergence in prices to assess the law of one price in Colombia, through the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the 13 largest cities. Specifically used for tests and cointegration analysis integrability for time series for both index levels, and for annual variations. Through these procedures may evaluate the performance of each of the regional prices with domestic prices, showing the long-term elasticity between prices and their average level of difference. The results show that on average, prices of Bogota, Cali, Manizales and Pasto have been placed above the national level and, just as its variation has been below the national price change during the study period.
